Coronavirus Update: Stay-At-Home Order Extended To May 3

Bay Area Health Officials Extend Stay-At-Home Order To May 3, Add Restrictions

The current coronavirus stay-at-home order has been extended through May 3 with added restrictions by Bay Area health officials in hopes of curbing the coronavirus spread across the region.

The new order covers the following counties and went to effect on Tuesday, March 31: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Sonoma, and Santa Clara counties, and the city of Berkeley.

The new order adds to the list of activities people may undertake outside their home as well as clarifies guidance from the previous order. Among these restrictions include the closure of all dog parks, playgrounds and recreational facilities.
