Legislation Day 2017

MFASC/MFANC Legislation Day was held this year from May 8-9, 2017, in Sacramento, Ca. Twenty members representing both California associations attended this year and walked the capital to support the surface finishing industry.

NCMS NEEDS OUR PARTICIPATION IN THEIR P2 GRANT SURVEY

In conjunction with NASF and as part of a grant from U.S. EPA Region V, the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) has sent a pollution prevention (P2) benchmarking survey to NASF job shop members. This project will provide valuable information for the surface finishing industry. Bright Design Challenge complete: Winners make a statement in surface finishing

NASF, MFASC & MFANC have completed their seventh year of sponsoring the 2016 Bright Design Challenge with The Pasadena Art School of Design. Fourteen students competed in the final presentation on Dec. 14, 2016, for $15,000 in scholarship awards granted by the three associations.   Sunny Innsun Park was awarded a first place prize with her design of UNION Key.
