In conjunction with NASF and as part of a grant from U.S. EPA Region V, the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) has sent a pollution prevention (P2) benchmarking survey to NASF job shop members. This project will provide valuable information for the surface finishing industry. The response to the survey to date has been lower than expected, and we would like more responses to enhance the statistically reliability of the project. We are reaching out to you to help encourage members of your Chapter who have not yet submitted a survey to participate in this effort and submit a survey response.
Companies should have received a hard copy of the survey in the mail. If companies do not have any record of receiving the survey, we can provide another copy or they may be able to complete it online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/metalfinishingsurvey. Companies responding to this survey will receive a free copy of Pollution Prevention and Control Technologies for Plating Operations, second edition. This book has been sold worldwide, and it is generally considered the most comprehensive text for this subject.
