The Metal Finishing Associations of California convened for their yearly Legislative Action Day on May 6 – 7, 2024, in Sacramento.
Representatives from the association engaged in discussions with state legislators regarding key industry concerns. Gratitude is extended to all who participated in advocating for the collective interests of the plating industry in California.
Among the topics discussed were commercial property insurance, the PFAS ban on California products, corporate climate reporting of greenhouse gas emissions, AB 617, and the state prohibition on hexavalent chromium plating.
