PROP. 65 WARNING NOTICE CHANGES
It is important to note that these new regulations do not determine when a warning is required, they provide guidance for businesses once they have decided to provide a warning for a given exposure to a listed chemical.
These warnings went into effect in 2018.
Prop 65 lawsuits are still happening – they have not gone away.
CLEAR AND REASONABLE WARNING REQUIREMENTS
New wording requirements for product and Environmental Warning.
Must list at least 1 listed chemical.
Short-form Warning for products.
Pictogram required.
Prop 65 Web address required.
Multiple language requirement.
Minimum Type Size.
Warning Location.
Prop 65 Employee Training is required to be part of your Hazard Communication.
