Metal Finishing Association of California Members and Friends,
We need your help and support at the California Air Resources Public Hearing to consider the proposed amendments to the ATCM for Chromium Electroplating and Chromic Acid Anodizing Operations The CARB board will hear this issue on Friday, January 27 at 8:30 am at the Mary D. Nichols Campus in Riverside.
Please plan to attend and make a comment to support the surface finishing industry as we fight for a fair emission-based rule comparable to SCAQMD Rule 1469. The current draft of the CARB rule has a ban on operations and will lead to many of our industry friends going out of business in the coming years. Regulatory rules should never selectively ban operations without being given the opportunity to comply with an emission standard.
If you are unable to attend in person then please consider making a virtual comment that day and show support. The association will continue to provide updates as we get closer to this date.

Our industry appreciates support in any way possible. Please consider supporting us by donating online below.
Thank you for your continued support.
