MFANC College Scholarship Fund and the application period is open NOW!
In May, the MFANC Board of Directors voted to approve a $2500.00 MFANC College Scholarship Fund. Scholarship applicants must be related to MFANC members in good standing, 22 years of age or younger, and intending to pursue a major related to metal finishing (ex: business administration, chemistry, engineering). The Board has decided to expedite this inaugural year of the MFANC College Scholarship Fund and the application period is open NOW! The deadline to apply is August 31st. The winner(s) will be announced in September at the MFANC Metal Finishing Conference (formerly known as Vendor Showcase). Please note that relatives of MFANC members who are serving on the MFANC College Scholarship Committee are not eligible.
MFANC would like to thank member Jim Arnold, of The Arnold Law Practice, for graciously donating his winnings from a drawing held at MFANC’s June Workshop to this cause! His generosity to the inaugural MFANC College Scholarship Fund has motivated the Board to organize the application process in time to award the first scholarship(s) at the MFANC Metal Finishing Conference in September.
